In circumstances which are under investigation, the crane overturned when the operator tried to lift an operation vehicle. As a result the cabin was overturned, resulting in the death of the operator.
According to sources from the Fire Brigade, cited by local news agency ANA-MPA, the cabin was found upside down resting on beams. The beams prevented its fall in the tunnel, estimated to be more than 15m deep.
