TADANO Faun’s search for a new UK distributor has resulted in the establishment of a new company, Cranes UK Ltd, headed by Joe Lyon. Lyon recently returned to the UK from South Africa where has was sales director of the Tadano distributor MMS.
Joining Lyon at Cranes UK are Brian Crisp as UK sales manager and Terry Philpott in charge of product support for the 600 Tadano and Tadano Faun cranes that are estimated to be in the UK. Both join from Marubeni-Komatsu Ltd (MKL) which was Faun’s distributor until the two parted company early last year.
After sales service will be handled by David Grayson, formerly of Manitowoc Europe.
Cranes UK is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
