Over the last 10 years, ABC Crane Hire has managed to build a strong customer base with a simple philosophy that no job is too difficult.

“Our new crane is spot on, like the first, and we’re even contemplating getting a third,” said Jamie Jones.

“The extra reach of the Tadano is great and the carrier will go anywhere. The general nature of our hire business means we are involved with anything from the construction and mining industry to accident vehicle recovery.”

With Western Australia still in the grips of a mining boom, the outlook for crane hire work is positive for ABC Crane Hire. However, with Mandurah’s waterfront real estate proving irresistible to developers, Jamie Jones is already struggling to keep up with local demand.

“Business has not let up over the year and we can’t see the boom slowing down anytime soon,” said Jamie Jones.

“Our second GT-550E now makes us the largest crane operator in Mandurah and we are currently expanding our staff to keep up. We’ll travel anywhere that our customers are willing to take us but the local work is certainly keeping us busy at this stage. The GT’s are so versatile that we will be looking for a third Tadano in 2007.”

The 55t capacity Tadano truck crane has a top speed of 83kph, 42m main boom, Euro 2 turbo diesel technology and choice of left or right hand drive configurations.
