The construction cranes have hook heights of between 30m and 72m and working radii of between 37m and 61m. They are erected on foundation anchors as there is limited space available on site.
Oosterdoks Island is being redeveloped to feature a modern 200,000m² business and recreation centre, featuring offices, hotels and the Stedelijk Museum. At the turn of the decade, a central railway station and a mail centre were constructed on the site.
In total, seven Liebherr construction cranes will be used on the development.
