The letter of intent was signed on 16 March, said Piotr Guzowski, a member of the management board at Gastel Zurawie. Guzowski added Budopol owns 90 tower cranes and five hydraulic mobile cranes.

Gastel Zurawie was recently formed by the merger of EFH Zurawie Wiezowe SA and Gastel SA. It has a fleet of 195 tower cranes, 34 hydraulic cranes, three crawler cranes, and 26 transportation units, supported by a staff of 239 working across seven offices.

Gastel Zurawie was built to create a new name in the Polish crane rental market, with scope for ‘dynamic development’, according to Tomasz Kwiecinski, president of the management board of Gastel, and Grzegorz Zólcik, president of the management board of EFH, when announcing the merger.
