GE Group works in the nuclear, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors. It purchased the 35t city crane to work on one of Europe’s largest dry docks at Nigg Energy Park, UK, servicing offshore drilling rigs and subsea vessels.

The Kato CR-350Ri features include: a hydraulically telescoping and hydraulically luffing fly Jib; outrigger length sensors with multiple set up options; a new colour touch screen safe load indicator system equipped with working range limiting functions and a European compliant and fuel efficient Mitsubishi engine.

Rivertek’s Tom Quinlan said: “We are delighted to deliver this new Kato CR-350Ri to the GE Group. We are seeing an increased demand for these quality Kato cranes in many sectors including the energy sector and again the quality and reliability of these cranes combined with the latest technological features make these cranes a very sound investment. We look forward to working with the team at the GE Group in supporting this Kato CR-350Ri into the future.”
