The vacuum lifter manufacturers appointed the firm after the launch of GGR Gulf, a collaboration with Orientals General Trading- providing lifters, mini cranes, glazing robots and other glass handling products to the Gulf region.
The partnership is to be launched at the Big 5 exhibition in Dubai, on 22 to 25 November.
A range of vacuum lifters will be on show at the exhibition, including the Wood Powr-Grip MTRA6.
GGR Gulf will be showcasing a selection of products, including the URW-295 mini crane, and a selection from GGR’s range of compact mini crawler cranes. The URW-295 is small enough to fit through a standard doorway, but has a 2.9t lifting capacity.
GGR Group has been partnered with Woods Powr-Grip for 10 years, and is the UK’s official dealership and service centre for the manufacturers.
The beginning of November saw GGR Group launch a new website dedicated to the hiring of accredited and approved lifting equipment, the ‘one-stop-hire-shop’.
The creation of the website follows GGR’s increased hire orders across the product range, which includes mini cranes, pick and carry cranes and vacuum lifters.
Graeme Riley, GGR Group’s CEO, said: “Although we’ve been hiring for may years, both hire demand and our hire offering has evolved over time, providing customers with a one-stop-shop for their hiring need. We provide authorised products as well as accredited and approved repairs, service and maintenance on our hire products.”
