The depot will offer the complete portfolio of GGR’s lifting equipment from its four brands, including GGR Unic mini cranes; GGR AirLift air powered mini cranes; GGR Galizia pick and carry cranes; and GGR Glass, which includes a range of vacuum lifters, cups and glazing robots.
The 6,000 sq ft facility is situated just off the M74, ideally suited for markets in central Scotland said GGR, and also includes offices, storage, a workshop and training facilities. GGR already has two operations in the UK, in Buckinghamshire and Manchester.
“The success of our Oldham and Long Crendon offices meant that moving into Scotland was inevitable,” said Graeme Riley, chief executive officer at GGR. “Scotland is an important marketplace for GGR and we’re excited to see just what we can achieve through this new depot.”
Thomas Rae, regional manager of the Scottish depot, added: “I’m looking forward to pushing the GGR Group further north and extending our client base. It’s an area ripe with potential for GGR’s huge array of services.”
