GGR open day for industry event

The UK’s Industry Lifting Lead AP Group Open Day will take the form of an open day hosted by Unic distributor GGR Group at its at Haddenham premises on Thursday 29th September 2022.

The event, which is sponsored by GGR Group and Skanska, has confirmed speakers from: Ainscough Crane Hire; HSE; IPAF; Sir Robert McAlpine; National Construction College / NOCN; CITB; CPA; Gap Group; Foresolutions; Skanska; and GGR Group.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see some bespoke lifting equipment and explore ideas on different ways to work. Key topics being explored and discussed by working groups from across the UK will include: lifting, loading and lowering; training; people plant/vehicle interface; improvements and revisions to standards; and new and improved methods of working and areas of innovation.

The audience for this event is: lifting professionals; logistics managers and supervisors; plant managers; procurement leads; and senior H&S leaders from across the Tier 1 and industry contractors group. A number of suppliers will also be presenting new technology options for practical and planning applications.
