The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association’s (LEEA) Global Lifting Awareness Day (GLAD) takes place on the 7th July. The online event will comprise webinars, presentations and discussions around various aspects of lifting with the aim of helping end users make well informed purchasing decisions, attracting new recruits into the sector, highlighting the importance of lifting and working at height with stakeholders and celebrating the lifting industry.

A part of GLAD is the social media campaign. Mark Bridger, director at Bridger Howes, said: “Anyone with an interest in lifting and working at height can contribute by using the hashtag #GLAD2022 to empower social media posts, videos, in-person activity, articles, etc. Even if it’s adding the logo to email signatures and reposting social media posts it helps.”
