The 75t crane is providing general lifting duties around the clock at the project, which will create a new 110,000 sq m terminal at the Viracopos International Airport at Campinas, near São Paulo. When completed, the terminal is expected to double annual passenger traffic to 14m.
The RT880E was built at Manitowoc’s facility at Passo Fundo, Brazil, and features a 39m boom.
