Grove Crane has upgraded its TMS and TTS 870 truck cranes from 70 US ton to 75 US ton capacity, and is therefore renaming them the TMS 875C and TTS 875C. Both cranes are four-axle models; the TTS version features all-wheel steering.
Grove has also added a new optional feature to the cranes, a hydraulic luffing swingaway jib for the 42m five-section full power boom. Controlled from the operator’s cab, the jib can luff through the range of 0° to 45°. This option can also be retrofitted to older TMS and TTS 870 models with the five-section boom.
