A new vehicle mounted rear view camera system is designed to be easily removable to prevent theft or vandalism.
Vision Unique Equipment’s Hindsite Demountable system has a magnetic camera mounting for quick attachment to the rear of the vehicle. The monitor is suction mounted to a smooth flat surface such as inside the windscreen and power comes via the cigarette lighter. Vehicles with damaged existing systems can quickly be put back in operation and vehicles on short term lease or rental can easily be made to comply with legislation while on particular sites. Theft is prevented after a shift by removing the system and storing it in its carrying case.
