The EUR2m ($2.6m) deal will see Havator Wind supply lifting, land transport and handling at the harbour, with 23 2.5MW turbines planned across the sites. Havator has 20 years experience operating in the wind power sector, and recently upgraded its service offering.
“In 2007, we extended our range of services, adding transport and assembly in addition to lifting and planning services,” says Havator Wind project director Mika Kolehmainen. “The key to success is experienced personnel with wide international experience together with a modern and versatile machine park.”
