Heila HRC 999

The machine uses a crawler base originally developed for one of the company’s aerial work platforms that is powered either by petrol or diesel engine. A winch with 50m cable can also be supplied for lifting down a hole. The machine carries 400kg of counterweight. It folds up to less than 800mm wide and 2m high for transport, and in use has a 2.7m square footprint. Export manager Ivan Zwijnenburg says that the crane’s simple safety system is entirely hydraulic. The first units of the machine were shown at the UK’s SED show in May.
