Based on Hiab’s existing HiPro control system, the HiPro XSD replaces the CombiDrive2 remote control used with the HiPro system with the XSDrive remote control.
The control system also features an upgraded version of the HiPro Space 5000 intelligence system, the Space 6000.
Hiab’s first loader cranes to feature the HiPro XSD system as standard will be the XS 111s, XS 122s, and XS 144s, after which it will be rolled out across the rest of Hiab’s light and mid-range crane fleet. Each model will also be available with the original HiPro control system.
Hiab product manager, Bengt Söderholm, commented: “The HiPro-feel is about speed, precision, and smooth control.”
He added: “This will be a great complement to our original HiPro system with the CombiDrive2 remote control.”
The XSDrive remote control is available with a shoulder hook, slide belt, and a harness.
