Indian company Tata Motors has ordered 600 loader cranes, with deliveries due to commence in the third quarter of 2017. The trucks and cranes will be used by The Indian Defence Forces for transportation and loading-unloading of supplies, spares and other operational equipment.
In 2016, Tata Motors took delivery of over 1,200 Hiab loader cranes.
Hiab has also received an order for 50 111B-2CLX loader cranes from Shanghai Longcheng Special Purpose Vehicle Company. This crane model has a capacity of 10t.
The value of the order is approximately €1m and the equipment will be delivered by the end of 2017.
"We are very happy to receive this order from the competitive Chinese market. The solution we deliver is for a Molok [semi-underground waste bin] application which is lead by Longcheng in the China market. We will deepen our cooperation with Longcheng in the environment segment in the future," said Walter Wang, head of sales and services, China.
"We can use the cranes to lift the hard lifting containers from the huge underground dustbin, then transfer them to the sanitation station," said Mr. Luo, from end user Guangdong Sanitation station.
Hiab delivered to Shanghai Longcheng over 40 loader cranes and 27 demountables in 2016.
Last month, the manufacturer received an order for 40 loader cranes from Japanese trading company FutureBud International for a United Nations-related project to assist developing countries in Africa.
