The participants in this Joint Venture, which was founded in 2006 and has its headquarters in the city of Xuzhou in the North of the East Chinese Province of Jiangsu, are Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co. Ltd., Hangzhou, and Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH, Neckartenzlingen, with a 50% share each. A total of 150 employees develop and produce mainly electronic crane control systems for the Chinese market there. In 2007 the Joint Venture achieved sales of 21 million Euro. An increase in sales to 30 million Euro is planned for this year.

“Thanks to the close cooperation between Xuzhou Construction Machinery and Hirschmann Automation the Joint Venture was able to win a big market share in a short time,” said Henk Derksen, Vice President Finance of Hirschmann parent company Belden EMEA. And the Chairman of Xuzhou Construction Machinery, Wang Ming, added: “With the modern production sites the Joint Venture will soon become the world’s biggest manufacturer of control systems for the construction machinery industry.”
