House of Equipment will supply 12 80m jib Fushun Yongmao towers with capacities from 18t–24t to the AED4.6bn ($1.26bn) racing, tourism and leisure project. The 76m sq ft project will transform the Nad Al Sheba racecourse, home to the Dubai World Cup.
Waiel Manfalouti, general manager of House of Equipment, told visitors to Dubai’s Big 5 PMV show, “Naturally we’re delighted to have won such a valuable contract for this landmark project. We were competing with six major suppliers and were judged on both technical and commercial aspects. The Yongmao Tower Cranes have CE approval, meaning they meet all EU requirements, and the CE mark was a key reason why we won the contract.”
