The crane had lifted yachts on to lorries. Reports by the BBC suggested that a wheel had sunk into a drain, which caused the crane to topple over.
Nobody was hurt.
HSE launches investigation
The UK's Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has launched an investigation after a 50t mobile crane toppled over and crashed through a factory at International Marine Services by Exeter Quay, Devon, UK.
