Gripper attachment Hunklinger of Germany has launched an hydraulic kerbstone clamp. It is suitable for laying kerbstones, grass paving, paving stones, blocks and steps – it can clamp objects from 60mm to 1,600mm wide by using exchangeable clamping jaws. The suspension is always located in the centre of the load, supported by gripper arms that simultaneously extend on both sides. A continuous rotary motor with freewheel enables the machine operator to position the machine during gripping and applying operations. Handles are also provided for manual guiding. The gripping mechanism consists of opposite gripping clamps that travel on a nylon plastic track and are therefore maintenance-free. A stop valve helps ensure secure holding.
