Iowa Mold Tooling (IMT) has added the 1014A and 2020 to its line of telescopic cranes. Both new cranes feature an improved proportional control valve and valve driver that is weather-resistant and has enhanced diagnostics. A simplified wiring system has been added to improve performance and reliability. IMT says a fully integrated electrical harness with water-tight connectors can be quickly installed on the company’s Dominator field service vehicle.

A new power unit design is available on both cranes. The improved unit includes an auto-shift speed reduction for heavy lift applications and increases function speeds by 30%. The unit also offers reliable automotive-type connectors and harness. Low current draw is also claimed.

Both cranes also feature impressive lift capacities, according to the company. The 1014A has a 1.5tm rating with a maximum lift capacity of 1,452kg.

The 1014A crane lifts 680kg at 1.8m and, with a .91m hydraulic extension and a 1.22m manual extension, 326kg at a maximum 4.3m.

The 2020 is rated at 2.8tm and lifts 2,268kg. At maximum reach of 6.1m it lifts 363kg. A fixed sheave boom tip is standard on both models.

Other features available include a four-section, electric remote, stack-type control valve with a 7.6m control cable, 400° of rotation and a capacity alert system with sealed overload sensor.

Corner mounted for maximum horizontal reach, the cranes can be installed directly to the right-hand reinforced crane compartment of a Dominator field service body.
