Iowa Mold Tooling has developed its largest telescopic crane for installation on a 15,000 gross vehicle weight chassis, the 5.3tm capacity model 3816.
It lifts 1,601kg at 3.4m and 834kg at 6.1m. The boom configuration for maximum reach includes a 1.5m hydraulic extension and a 1.2m manual extension. It rotates through 400o.
A fixed sheave boom tip is standard, but for added lift height in tight quarters, a flip sheave boom tip is available.
