Korea heavy Industries & Construction is building a thermal power plant in Tangin, Chungnam in Korea.
Four years into a five year programme, it is seen here lifting a 128t, 30m-long steel girder with its Manitowoc M-1200 Ringer. The crane was rigged with a 130m main boom and jib combination to pick the load at a radius of 60m. It then swung through 70° and lifted the load to a maximum height of 125m before placing it at a height of 104m and a radius of 59m. Client for the project is Korea Electric Power Company.
