The ATF 600G-8 is the largest all terrain in the Tadano product line, with a capacity of 600t. This crane was first shown last year to customers, but Bauma represents the first fully public showing.
All structural tests have been completed, but those of durability are still ongoing.
The crane offers impressive lifting across the load chart without needing a guying system, saving time and expense in transport and preparation. More information will be available at Bauma, when more news on orders may be revealed.
The company says: "At the smaller end of our product line, we will also be presenting another world-class novelty, which is the successor of our formerly known ATF 50G-3."
As part of the Euromot 4/ Tier 4f adjustment, Tadano has taken the chance to add features and updates across the full ATF product line. Tadano will show 80-90% of its whole all terrain range, all with new Tier 4 Final engines.
The use of the new technologies means not just new engine technologies, but also the redesign to implement new features, including a new drivers cabin and some slight changes in the load chart for the midrange.
These improvements will lead to another naming upgrade for one of the models.
"At Bauma 2016 our customers will be able to experience these improvements, all of which have been developed to make their crane rental business even more profitable," the company says.
With regards to the telecrawler cranes, Tadano Mantis will show it’s second crane built and designed in the US, but using Tadano’s global telescopic boom expertise, with components including winches, jib, hydraulic cylinders, AML_C and Hello Net telematics. The GTC800 has a CE mark and a capacity of 80t. It is completely new for European market.
On the rough terrain side, there will be the new GR1450 EX, which is not CE-marked. This is a Japanese product, for the US and rest of the world.
They will also show one of their HK series truck mounted cranes, the HK 65.
As is usual, the Tadano booth will be located at open-air area F12, in the 1205 stand.
