The event, the second organised by the company, brought together 60 people from 30 distributors around the world. Jekko president Diego Tomasella described the history of the company, launched in 2016 as a spin-off from Ormet. Tomasella introduced Fassi CEO Giovanni Fassi, who discussed the partnership subsequently formed between the companies.
The new JF series cranes (JF-545, JF-30, and JF-40) were introduced by export manager Alberto Franceschini. The draft loadchart for the first of the cranes to be launched, the JF-545, shows a maximum capacity of 3,500kg, with 600kg of capacity with boom and jib fully extended to 28m reach. In travel mode, the crane is 1.84m wide by 2.75mn high and 5.45m long. Outriggers can be extended to 4.25m or 6.7m.
Users can select between Kubota Stage 111A and Stage IV/Tier 4F engines. Other options include a man-basket and low marking white pads for the carrier.
