Maxim Crane Works used a 500t Demag all-terrain in December to lift a new F22 jet fighter at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio USA. The lift was part of comprehensive testing for this new aircraft. Assisting in the lift coordination was Maxim operations manager Greg Wagner. The F22 was developed and produced by a collaboration between the US Air Force, Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Pratt.
