The ATF 80-4 has been one of Tadano Faun’s most successful cranes ever, thanks not just to its lifting performance but also to the fact that it is the only crane in its class to have two diesel engines – a 315kW engine for driving and a smaller 130kW engine for powering crane operations. Having two engines is usual for larger cranes, but other cranes of this class only have one engine. Having two engines reduces fuel consumption and saves on running costs.
