JOHN Sutch Crane Hire, based in northwest England, has taken delivery of a Spierings SK 598-AT5 truck-mounted tower crane.
This five-axle machine with a 48m jib and 54m hook height is the largest in Spierings’ range. Sutch’s is the second crane of this model in the UK, the first being owned by City Lifting in London. It is the seventh Spierings mobile tower crane to be shipped to the UK.
John Sutch runs a fleet of 22 mobile cranes but this is his first mobile tower crane.
The maximum load of the SK598-AT5 is 8t at 12.8m. At jib end it lifts 1.7t.
