The new models, which have been designed for the European market, will be called the CR-130Rf (13t capacity) and the CR-200Rf (20t).
Enhancements to the new models include increased maximum road speed; searcher hooks as standard equipment; completely redesigned operator cabins; an automatic outrigger levelling system; and new green-efficient Stage IV Engines. An industry first for mobile cranes will be a parking distance assist system, which will be fitted as standard to both the new models.
Colin Cleary, managing director of Rivertek Services, Kato’s authorised distributor said: “Many of the enhancements and new features of these new models have been as a direct result of feedback between KATO engineers and UK crane users.” It is hoped to deliver the first units to European customers over the summer.
