Kennis Machinefabriek, a Dutch company that specialises in producing truck loader cranes that slide along the length of a trailer, has delivered the first unit of its largest ever crane.
The Kennis R-50-E roller crane was delivered on 14 October to PJ Hoogendoorn Transport BV of Lunteren, Netherlands.
The column and boom of the 50tm crane was supplied by Effer of Italy and mounted by Kennis on roller bases it designed itself.
The crane lifts 4,000kg at 12.25m and 12,450kg at 4.5m. With this crane, the vehicle can drive with the load suspended above the trailer, said export manager Eric van Hal.
