Nestor joined Kirtland Capital Partners in 1986, and is president and senior managing director of the business, as well as CEO. Kirtland acquired Essex Crane in 2000, selling it to Hyde Park Acquisition Corp, a South African backed, publicly traded, acquisition vehicle, in 2008. After the sale, Hyde Park renamed as Essex Rental Corp.
Nestor served as chairman of the Essex Crane board until its sale and played an integral role in assembling the current executive management team. With his return to Essex, the company has five board members.
