Knut Boe (48) is Senior Executive Vice President Marine Operations & Technical Resources in Technip’s Offshore Branch – a role he took up in 2001.

Knut Boe studied mechanical engineering at the Norwegian Technical College in Trondheim before attending a post graduate programme at Von Karman Institute in Brussels. He began his career as a project engineer for Norwegian Contractors before moving on to Maritime Seanor and serving as their Managing Director from 1988. He joined ABB Offshore Technology as Executive Vice President in 1996 and in 1998 took over as Managing Director for the Norwegian unit of Technip Offshore, formerly Coflexip Stena Offshore. He became Senior Executive Vice President Marine Operations & Technical Resources in Technip’s Offshore Branch in 2001.
