Antti Vanhatalo has been appointed group vice president of KCI Konecranes, in charge of business development projects.
Vanhatalo has been with KCI since 1969, most recently as president of the process cranes division of the Special Cranes business area. He was also managing director of Konecranes Components Corporation. Previously, from 1987 to 1992, he was president of Konecranes Landel Inc in the USA.
Mikko Uhari, president of the harbour and shipyard cranes (VLC) division of Special Cranes, is also given responsibility for heavy duty process cranes, creating a new position of president, Special Cranes.
