Netherland-headquartered crane specialist Kooiker & Russcher Bouwkranen has purchased 12 self-erecting cranes from Terex Tower Cranes (TC), part of the Raimondi Group.
The agreement marks the first direct supply of self-erecting cranes by the Raimondi-backed division to a client in the Netherlands.
The order comprises of seven CBR 24 cranes, three CBR 28 units, one CBR 21, and one CBR 32 cranes.
These additions will enhance Kooiker & Russcher’s existing fleet, which is deployed in commercial, residential, and industrial construction across the Netherlands.
The company is known for its experience in providing lifting equipment and technical services to building projects nationwide.
Kooiker & Russcher Bouwkranen new tower cranes sales manager Martijn Heesakkers said: “We were looking for reliable, easy-to-transport cranes with strong lifting performance and rapid deployment capabilities.
“The Terex self-erecting crane range combines compact dimensions, fast erection times, user-friendly operation, and proven reliability, making it an excellent fit for the needs of our customers.”
According to Terex, several of the cranes have already been delivered and are operating at residential and general construction project sites in various Dutch locations.
The models in this shipment have jib lengths of between 21m and 32m, with a maximum lifting capacity of 4t.
Terex TC sales manager Paolo di Gianbattista said: “The first feedback from our valued client, Kooiker & Russcher, and their respected customers has been extremely encouraging, reinforcing our confidence in this new collaboration.”
The Terex self-erecting crane series is designed for rapid deployment and operational efficiency, aiming to serve small- and medium-sized construction sites where space and productivity are important.
The companies indicated that this initial order could signal the start of a longer-term working relationship to broaden access to Terex cranes in the Dutch market.
