The Liebherr LG 1750 because both the basic design of the device and the boom systems are designed for the special requirements of assembling wind power plants. The SL system offers a lifting capacity of 100 tons with a hook height of 122 m, without a derrick. According to Liebherr, this is ideal for plants in the 3 MW class up to a hub height of 110 m.
With the new LG 1750, KR Wind will also receive a new boom system, which can lift 100 tons up to a hook height of 152 m if operated with a derrick and suspended ballast with a fixed jib.
With shorter booms, lifting capacities of up to 150 tons are possible for 3.5MW – 4 MW class wind power plants.
KR Wind has also ordered three of the new Liebherr LR 1600/2 crawler cranes.
