Two of the ranges have been developed with lifting tasks in mind: the AMF range of AC brakes and AMBY ranges of DC brakes. The AMF range has a torque range of 1.5Nm to 250Nm with double-braking surface, rapid brake on/off capability. It is available in frame sizes from 63 to 160 with power outputs from 0.12 to 22kW. Series AMBY features progressive noiseless braking and a range of add-on options, such as encoders, axial independent cooling fan hand release lever and special brake designs.
