MKD Michendorfer Krandienst of Germany has taken delivery of the 1,000th unit of the Liebherr LTM 1030/2, the 35t two-axle all terrain introduced at the 1997 Paris Intermat show.
Liebherr reports that in the five years since the launch of this machine it has delivered 229 units to German customers, 208 to Spain, 154 to France, 93 to the Netherlands, 58 to the UK, 32 to Belgium, 25 to Finland and 25 to Austria. This model has also been at work in Brazil, Chile, South Africa, the USA, Indonesia and Guadeloupe. There are also 35 units in eastern Europe.
This crane was the first AT on the market with comprehensive data bus technology for drive and control.
