Liebherr announces a new addition to its mobile construction crane range: the MK 120-5.1.
The five-axle machine bridges the gap between the MK 88-4.1 and the MK 140-5.1 – upon which it is based.
The new crane has a 52 metre jib (compared to 65 m on the MK 140-5.1) and a maximum lifting capacity of 2.1 tonnes at its jib head (compared to 1.9 t on the MK 140-5.1).
One of the mobile construction crane’s key advantages, says Liebherr, is its agility; it has a small turning circle to facilitate site access in restricted space.
The new model is equipped with Liebherr’s latest 12-inch TC-OS display – which can be used in either split or full screen modes.
One of the first customers for the new crane is Swiss company Zaugg AG Rohrbach. A company from Belgium has also already put in an order. Deliveries will start in summer 2025.
