Morrow Equipment Company, the exclusive distributor of Liebherr tower cranes in North America, has deployed Liebherr tower cranes on seven major residential and mixed-use projects reshaping the Miami skyline.
The projects span key neighbourhoods including Brickell, Park West, Edgewater, and the Miami Worldcenter district. In total they will deliver several thousand new homes across the city.
Morrow Equipment is supplying a range of Liebherr models, including the EC-H high-top, EC-B flat-top, and HC-L luffing jib cranes, to address the technical requirements of Miami’s high-rise construction sector.
These sites typically present challenges such as confined urban locations, hook heights reaching approximately 230m, and seasonal conditions like hurricanes and high humidity.
The projects currently underway include Villa Miami, a 56-storey luxury tower at 710 NE 29th Street in Edgewater, where two 316 EC-H tower cranes have been deployed.
Regulatory filings indicate that one crane rises to about 230m, with the other reaching approximately 218m.
The towers at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences Miami in Park West are also utilising Liebherr cranes.
The first of the two towers, 65 storeys high, was topped out in early 2025 with a 470 EC-B crane, while the second tower is still under construction.
At 1420 South Miami Avenue in Brickell, the Cipriani Residences Miami project is being built as an 80-storey residential tower and using two EC-B cranes. Approval has been given for crane heights of up to 305m at this location.
In the Miami Worldcenter district, the 600 Miami World Center project topped out in October 2025 with the help of two 357 HC-L luffing jib cranes.
Other developments utilising Liebherr cranes include a 58-storey residential tower at 46 NE 6th Street, Hamilton House at 640 NE 34th Street, and the 50-storey St. Regis Residences at 1809 Brickell Avenue.
These sites have combined approvals for crane heights ranging from approximately 151m to 226m.
Morrow Equipment Company president and chief operating officer Peter Juhren said that the Liebherr brand is recognised in North America for its tower cranes and that Morrow’s clients expect quality, reliability, and service support across all project sites.
