The Yas Marina Hotel will straddle the track, making it the only hotel in the world to have an F1 circuit running through it. The inaugural Abu Dhabi grand prix is to take place 30 October to 1 November, with the hotel due to be completed by September.
The hotel comprises two towers clad in a glazed cloak, with 499 rooms and a Michelin-starred restaurant. The two towers will be joined by a bridge at Level 1, offering executive lounge facilities.
The 500t capacity mobile is working on a number of projects around the hotel, including lifting components of the bridge spanning the track, and positioning 72t steel and 24t glazed elements of the cladding.
