A key advantage of the new design is the improved load capacity — increased by up to 30% in some areas due to a stronger main boom and a modified derrick system.
The adjusted derrick system includes an extension of the derrick boom, increasing the length by 7m to 38.5m. The ballast trailer has also been modified, and now features a hydraulic drive unit to improve handling. And the LR 1750/2 offers better safety levels through additional platforms and access points, as well as extended and improved railings.
