The luffing mechanism coordinates with the hoist mechanism electronically, allowing an operator to use a push-button to move the load horizontally when ‘level luffing’.
The design places the hoist mechanism on front and the luffing mechanism and the electrical cabinet on the back, to reduce the required counterweight.
Hydraulic push and retention controls the force on the jib relative to the luffing radius to ensure smooth movement, travel control and minimal cable-tension loosening.
‘The series includes many technical and structural solutions that improve the performance of the cranes and optimize the retail price, achieving a completely new and highly competitive series of cranes,’ said Mariano Echávarri, communications and marketing manager at Linden Comansa.
The cranes in the series will become available to buyers by the end of April this year except the LCL 165, which will become available by summer.
