The AT, with a main boom reach of 167ft (51m), was used to position a series of 5,000lb (2.3t) air handling units on the roof of the building. The units were positioned about 100ft (30.5m) in from the edge of the roof.

The crane proved an ideal choice with the 170ft (52m) main boom set at a 134ft (41m) radius and a boom angle of 36 degrees.

Audie Howell, vice president of Howell Crane & Rigging, said: “There has been constant demand for the crane since we took delivery of it.”

Frank Howell founded Howell Crane and Rigging 27 years ago. Today, his son, Audie Howell is vice president and operations manager. The 27 strong fleet contains 10 Link-Belt models.
