The on-again/off-again cooperation talks between Link-Belt of the USA and Mannesmann Dematic of Germany have collapsed again, Cranes Today has learned.
Officially, both companies say only that they have nothing to announce.
But sources within Mannesmann AG have confirmed that attempts to reach a deal on some kind of cooperation have ended without success.
The German company remains keen to establish a North American presence, while Link-Belt wants to break into Europe.
