The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), New York District intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract to procure for the Albany Field Office (AFO) Lorain MCH 350D Crane Load Measurement and Anti-Two Block System. 1. Requirements: The contract consists of performing all work associated with furnishing and installing a new load measurement and anti-two block system, complete, to replace the existing MicroGuard 404 system in the USACEs Lorain MCH 350D crane. The new system shall be retrofitted to the crane to include, as a minimum, all components, features, and indicators available on the existing MicroGuard 404 system (i.e., reel and drum assembly, computer, cable, anti-two block switch, limit switch, boom kit, chain assemblies, etc.). Following installation, the new system shall be calibrated and performance-tested. An Operation Manual and Parts Manual shall be provided as part of this contract. The contract also includes providing training on the computer operation and features prior to final acceptance. 2. Required Completion Date: Complete all repairs no later than 90 days following award. 3. Delivery of Crane to Repair Facility: The Crane will be transported by USACE and delivered to the Contractors shop located within a 50-mile radius of the USACE Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, NY 12180.

Contractors submitting quotations to perform the work outside the 50-mile radius shall include in their proposal the cost for transporting the equipment from the USACE Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, NY 12180 to their facility at the start of work, and the cost to return the equipment to the USACE Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, NY 12180 following completion of work. 4. Payment: The Contractors lump sum price for Repairs to Lorain MCH 350D Crane Load Measurement and Anti-Two Block System shall include the cost for all labor, parts, materials, and incidentals required to complete all work identified in Item No. 1 (Requirements) above. The Contractors lump sum price for the repairs shall also include the cost for transportation of the equipment to and from the Contractors repair facility if the Contractors facility is located outside a 50-mile radius of the USACE Albany Field Office, 1 Bond Street, Troy, NY 12180. Payments will be made within 30 days after receipt of the Contractors approved invoice upon completion and acceptance of the work. The Contractor shall submit a copy of the paid invoice with its request for partial payment.

This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 8111310. The solicitation will result in a firm fixed price contract.
