Jerry Loughren has been promoted from vice president, sales to general manager of American Crane. The promotion follows the completion of new owner Terex’s ‘100 day programme’ of restructuring following the acquisition last year under the direction of Terex Lifting senior vice president Leon Deutsch.
“Programmes and procedures have been put in place to enable American Crane to aggressively and responsively serve customers,” said Terex Lifting president and CEO Fil Filipov. “Jerry Loughren has been a key factor in building healthy orders during this period and, with his leadership, we feel we are now positioned to satisfy the requirements of both existing and new customers in a timely and cost-effective manner.” Deutsch is now responsible for business development and the global purchasing of major components across the Terex Lifting group.
