County Coroner Bruce Farmer named the dead man as Larry Kincaid. The name of the other injured man has not been released.
Farmer said that the men were part of a four-person team. Kincaid was the supervisor, Farmer said. He said that he did not know for certain what caused the accident. “We would just be speculating,” he said. “We’re waiting for OSHA, who will be comparing witness statements.”
All four men were employed by M Bowling Marine Company, Farmer said, which owned the crane for loading and unloading barges.
