New recruit Chambers is taking over responsibility for the Victoria and Tasmania from Masters.

Chambers is new to Manitowoc although he has worked in the Australian crane industry for over 30 years.

From beginnings as a crane operator he developed into a senior manager while working for companies such as Brambles, James Cranes, Gleasons and Associated Rigging.

He will be based in Manitowoc’s Melbourne facility.

Continuing to manage his existing sales areas within South Australia and the Northern Territory, Masters will take on take on the Queensland region in addition to South Australia and the Northern Territory.

Masters has moved to Queensland to better serve the territory from the Manitowoc office in Brisbane.

Having traveled the country during the past year, Masters is well known to clients, Manitowoc said.

Both Masters and Chambers report to Neil Hollingshead, sales and marketing director for Australia for Manitowoc.

Hollingshead said: “Over the years we have continually added new personnel and offices, and this is just the latest stage in the development of our sales network.”

He continued to explain the expansion of Australian services, “As the population of Manitowoc cranes increases and our customer base grows, it is important we have the resources in place to provide customers with the service they expect.

“Ben has done an excellent job in his time with us and his customers appreciate the support and expertise he provides. Andy’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the regional crane market make him a perfect fit for the role.

“As we look to solidify and strengthen our position in this important market, I have every confidence that Andy and Ben will continue to be great assets for our company,” Hollingshead said.

“I am delighted to join such an impressive organization like Manitowoc Cranes that is also growing,” he said. “It’s an exciting time with many opportunities to develop. I look forward to meeting customers from Victoria and Tasmania and helping them however I can,” Hollingshead concluded.
