MANITOWOC Crane Group president Glen Tellock has completed the structuring of his senior mangement team with Jeff Bust and Steve Cripe from Grove, Larry Weyers from Manitowoc and Pierre-Yves Le Daeron of Potain joining the three regional executive vice presidents announced earlier (news last month) at the top of the company.
• Jeff Bust is given the title of executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and remains chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide, although John Wheeler has day to day control of operations at Grove while Bust immerses himself in group strategic issues. Bust’s job is to ‘assist Tellock with major strategic initiatives including his current role as transition manager for the Grove and Potain acquisitions, as well as identifying and evaluating future acquisitions, plus undertaking other special assignments’.
• Steve Cripe, former chief financial officer of Grove Worldwide, becomes controller of Manitowoc Crane Group with full financial responsibility. Tellock himself was chief financial officer of The Manitowoc Company Inc before being appointed president and general manager of the crane group in June this year.
• Larry Weyers retains his status within the group as senior vice president responsible for worldwide marketing and product support. His role has changed slightly, though, having previously been senior vice president of sales and marketing. No single person has worldwide sales responsibility any more.
• Pierre-Yves Le Daeron has moved from being Potain’s corporate development director to become general manager of the consolidated aerial work platforms division of Manitowoc Cranes, which includes brands Liftlux (incorporating TKD), Grove Manlift and Delta.
• As previously announced, Marty Lakes is executive vice president of the Americas region, Jean-Yves Bouffault is executive vice president of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Eric Etchart is executive vice president of the Asia Pacific region.
On 20 September Lakes announced the senior managers that would report to him in the Americas Crane group.
• John Wheeler is executive VP and general manager of Grove Cranes and chief operating officer of Cranes: Americas.
• Alan Antoniewicz moves from Shady Grove to Manitowoc as VP and general manager of Manitowoc Cranes.
• Dave Birkhauser is senior VP of sales Manitowoc Crane Group Americas Region • Dalton Pierce is director of engineering development and systems Manitowoc Crane Group Americas Region.
